Privacy
Your details, handled properly.
What we collect
When you get in touch we collect your name, mobile number, email address, where you work, your trade and whatever you tell us about your business. If you become a customer we also hold billing details and the content for your website.
Our website records the IP address and browser type of anyone submitting the enquiry form. This is used only to block spam and abuse.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, roughly where you are and the device you use, with IP addresses shortened. It does not tell us who you are.
Phone calls
Calls to 0495 043 371 are answered by an AI assistant, which tells you so at the start of the call. Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can reply to you. The recording, transcript and the details you give are processed by our voice-AI provider, ElevenLabs, and stored with our cloud hosting provider. We use your caller ID to recognise you if you call again. We keep call records on the same timetable as enquiries.
What we use it for
To reply to you, build and run your website, and invoice you. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone outside George Prieto and the software providers we use to run the business, who are bound to handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Where it is stored
Enquiries and customer records are stored with our cloud hosting provider. We keep customer records for seven years after the last invoice, as required for tax purposes, and delete enquiries that did not become a customer after twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@tradiesfirst.com.au. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
